The Heart Behind My Practice

My passion for massage began during a life-changing moment—the birth of my first child—when therapeutic touch eased the intensity of back labor. Even as a child, I understood the power of touch; my sister and I would gently massage each other’s backs to relax and drift off to sleep.

A serendipitous first professional massage—won by chance in a chiropractor’s drawing—left me completely renewed and inspired. That experience awakened a calling: to offer others the same sense of balance, relief, and tranquility.

Experience & Expertise

With over 1,200 hours of training and a degree from Pacific Northwest Massage Academy, I’ve honed a blend of formal techniques and intuitive care. My practice began in Alaska, where I served my community and opened my own space in Anchorage, and now continues in Washington State.

I also honor my caregiving roots through Jim’s Geriatric Massage, named for a beloved client who believed in my path and helped make my dream possible. A portion of every session supports Swan Lake Senior Center in Sitka, Alaska—a place dear to my heart where I spent time helping my grandmother.
